Terms of Use – MINSAS (My Insurance Assistance)
1. Eligibility and Acceptance
You must be 16 years or older to use MINSAS. By downloading, installing, or using the MINSAS mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms").
2. Use of the Service
MINSAS provides tools to manage insurance policies and prepare accident claims. You agree to use it lawfully and only for your own insurance processes.
Ownership: You retain ownership of uploaded photos, videos, documents, and signatures. You grant MINSAS a limited license to store and process that content solely to generate and deliver your claims and provide the service.
3. Electronic Signatures
Important Legal Notice: Finger-drawn signatures captured in the App are simple electronic signatures under Regulation (EU) 910/2014 (eIDAS). They are valid for evidence but are not qualified electronic signatures (QES).
4. Account and Deletion
You may delete your account at any time in-app or at minsas.app/minsas_data_deletion.html. Deletion triggers a 30-day finalization process per our Privacy Policy.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
5.1 Pricing Models
- Free Tier: Free for up to 3 vehicles.
- Paid Subscriptions: "Minsas Plus" and "Minsas Pro" are paid subscriptions for larger fleets.
5.2 Apple App Store Subscriptions (Mandatory Disclosure)
If you purchase a subscription via the Apple App Store, the following terms apply:
- Payment: Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-Renewal: Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.
- Renewal Charges: Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period at the cost of the chosen package.
- Management: Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase.
- Free Trials: Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.
5.3 Google Play Store Subscriptions
If you purchase a subscription via the Google Play Store, the following terms apply:
- Payment: Payment will be charged to your Google Play Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-Renewal: Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.
- Renewal Charges: Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period.
- Management: Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Google Play Account Settings.
5.4 General Payment Terms
- Paid features are managed through Stripe or app-store billing.
- If you cancel, the subscription ends at the current period end; no partial refunds unless required by law.
6. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following core processors necessary to operate the service:
- Supabase: Hosting, database, and storage.
- Google Gemini: OCR for document text extraction.
- Google Maps: Geocoding and location services.
- Resend: Email delivery.
- PDFShift: PDF generation.
- Stripe: Payments.
- Branch.io: Deep linking.
7. Liability
"AS IS" Service: The App and its outputs (e.g., claim PDFs) are provided "as is." UAB Minsas is not liable for losses arising from incorrect user input, OCR errors, or insurer decisions beyond its control.
Insurance Decisions: We do not evaluate the merits of insurance claims. All insurance decisions are made by relevant insurance companies.
8. Consumer Rights (EU)
If you are an EU consumer, you retain rights under Directive 2011/83/EU and Directive 2019/770 on digital content. Local mandatory consumer law prevails over these Terms where applicable.
9. Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. By using the App, you agree to our Privacy Policy (https://minsas.app/privacy-policy.html), which explains how we collect and protect your data.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, subject to mandatory EU consumer protections. Disputes may be brought before courts of your residence or Vilnius, Lithuania.
